Learn to Nordic Ski at Emerald Lake

Service Description

This lesson covers falling, diagonal stride, basic hill technique including herringbone, wedging and stopping on skis. After the lesson enjoy a tour to the back of Emerald Lake. Waxless Cross Country skis, boots and poles are required for the day, and are rentable in Golden, Lake Louise or at Emerald Lake for ~$30.00/person. Participants are required to come dressed for winter weather with warm layers, waterproof pants and jacket, warm over jacket, mittens, toque, neck warmer, sunglasses and back pack filled with lunch, snacks and hot tea for the day. Before participating guests are required to sign a waiver, youth must be accompanied by a guardian. A Minimum of 2 participants per booking are required to operate.
