FREEHEELIN' ADVENTURES

Freeheelin Adventures was established in 2007 and offers hiking, backpacking, cross country skiing and snowshoe activities, lessons and tours in the Canadian Rockies, mainly in Alberta Parks, Banff, Yoho, Kootenay and Jasper National Parks. Our guides are certified by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and the Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors. Freeheelin Adventures was founded by Shauna Morey a graduate of the Bachelors of Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership program at Mount Royal University. Shauna is a full time guide covering our cross country ski, hiking, snowshoeing and backpacking trips, and has guided activities including caving, canoeing, sea kayaking, rafting, hiking, rock climbing, glacier travel and mountaineering. A love for the natural environment keeps her exploring and sharing it with others, when she is not out guiding, she spends her time rock, ice and alpine climbing.  Looking to learn a skill or come on an adventure, you came to the right place!
